About Me
Dave Grodzki is a singer / songwriter based out of Indianapolis, IN. At one of my shows you can expect to have a good time. That's my goal, pure and simple. I try to have as much fun as I can when I'm playing music, and pass that along to everyone who wants to listen. Come out, and you'll hear both original acoustic tunes and covers of everyone from Neil Young to Rhianna, Bruce Springsteen to The Beatles. I play both solo and as a duo with my good friend Eric Arnett.
I enjoy music by The Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, O.A.R., Dispatch, moe., The Who, and basically anything that brings something new and fresh to to the table. Things I enjoy besides playing music: watching shows, driving for too long, working out, reading, producing, late nights, coffee, photography, making new friends, partying, and anything new, risky, and spontaneous.

Playing shows is the heart and soul of what I do, and I've always tried to make each and every show stand out in its own way. I'm a firm believer that if I show a true love for what I do and the music I play, together we can make every night a great experience. I do this thing because it's fun. And the only thing better than playing the music you love is to be able to share it with your friends. So come out, catch a show, have a drink with us, and enjoy yourselves!
A bit more if you care about formal Bio Stuff:
After growing up in Chicago and attending college, Dave moved to Indianapolis, where he works as an Applications Engineer in addition to playing music with a wide variety of artists. Dave has been playing live since high school, and while in college spent his first years as the lead guitarist of the band Glass Halo. They performed over 60 shows and released a full length studio LP before graduations and careers forced the members their separate ways, but the band has since reconvened and continues to play & record (Check them out HERE). Dave used his time off in early 2006 to write several tracks and record a home demo of solo material as well as some covers. It was with the help of this demo that he first started playing shows around college, and later at local bars. Beginning in 2006, Dave played many shows in and around Indiana with Brad Herman, and the duo, known simply as "Dave & Brad", became a favorite among both college and older crowds. Currently, Dave is busy recording new material, and playing shows both solo and with other local musicians.
